Sonya is the Co-Founder/ CEO of Max Learning Ventures. She loves children and is passionate about giving each child the tools to show their success.

She is an educator with two post graduate degrees in education from the United States including one in special education. Sonya has over three decades of teaching experience. She has taught at The American School in New Delhi and at The Lab School of Washington in DC.

Besides being a reading specialist trained in several recognised reading programmes, she has attended several professional courses at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and at the Reggio Emilia Malaguzzi Centre. She regularly works with students, consults with parents and conducts workshops for school educators.

Sonya is a Vipassana meditation and yoga practitioner. She is a keen golfer and lover of the Himalayas.

Parmvir, as the overall Business Head focussing on growth & strategy looks after the operations and expansion of Max Learning Ventures in becoming a hub for the successful development of early childhood education and associated programmes.

His professional journey is as unique and diverse as our learning programme. In a nutshell; he is a professional who has taken a leap from ‘Steel to School’. An MBA from the Indian School of Business, Parmvir also holds a Masters in Engineering from The University of Sheffield, UK. In the past, Parmvir has worked in the B2B sector handling multiple roles spanning various countries. His global exposure, keen interest in the learning business, and his ability of putting pieces together make him an integral team member.

Samini Philip earned her B.A. from Oberlin College, Ohio, USA. She graduated with honours in Psychology and minored in French. She did her Master’s in Social and Political Science from Cambridge University, U.K.

Samini has been working as the Admissions Director at Learning Matters Foundation since 2012. She has experience teaching in the early years and has attended several professional development courses including Project Zero at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. She has also participated and attended a month long intensive training by Susan Griss, a faculty member of New York’s Bank Street College, on Minds in Motion—a kinaesthetic approach to teaching elementary curriculum through movement.

Shweta has an MBA in International Business from Amity University, Noida and also holds dual bachelor degrees. She earned a post graduate certification in Human Resources from Sheridan College, Toronto and is also certified in Steiner Waldorf Early Childhood Studies. Shweta is an advocate of life-long learning and joins us having over a decade of experience in the early childhood education arena.

When not at work, she enjoys reading fiction and learning of new developments in the early childhood education space. She loves to indulge in endless play and storytelling with her two sons, Avyaan and Jiyaan.

Vidhi has been inclined towards various forms of creative arts since her childhood. She is a skilled Tanjore painter and a trained classical dancer. An alumna of Delhi University, she has completed her MBA in HR. She has worked as a creative director at Mittal Publications and has successfully launched children’s books under the title “Little House.” Vidhi is a certified Montessori teacher. She is passionate about young children and believes that every child is capable and full of wonder.

Ananya is a Political Science graduate from Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University.She holds her M.A. in Education (Early Childhood Care and Education) from Ambedkar University, Delhi. She pursued her M.sc. in Counselling and Family Therapy from IGNOU where she specialized in Child and Adolescent Counselling. Teaching yoga, reading and dancing are her other areas of interest. Ananya envisions a world where children and their voices matter. 

Mekha is a graduate in Commerce from Calicut University, Kerala. She joined Learning Matters in 2019. She has grown as an educator by regularly attending professional development workshops. Mekha is passionate about early childhood education and brings a positive spirit and happy disposition to the classroom. 

Roshni has worked at Learning Matters for over five years. She has done her nursery teacher training and has attended numerous professional development workshops on the early years. Along with being passionate about working with young children, she was a national level badminton player and has a flair for playing the piano and singing.

Ruchika has been working at Learning Matters since 2019. She is an advocate of a play-based education in the early years. Ruchika believes it is crucial to provide a nurturing environment with open-ended materials so that children can play and learn joyfully. 

Suveen is a passionate early childhood educator. She holds a degree in English Literature from Delhi University.  Post her degree, she studied the field of education. Suveen believes all children must be respected and honoured and that learning should be a joyful experience. 

Christina has been with Learning Matters since early 2021. She has completed the FECL training, a foundational early years collaborative course between Finland and Learning Matters. Christina enjoys being with young children and has touched many hearts.

Srishti Popli Dayal has over six years of experience working with young children. She believes in value-based learning through story telling and creative experiences. Srishti enjoys spreading joy in the classroom and making new discoveries along side children. 

Tanya Kapoor is a graduate of Delhi University. She specialized  in Human Development and Childhood Studies. She recently completed her professional Degree ( B.Ed ) from MDU. Tanya is passionate about working with young children and believes in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.
